The basis for this is always the naturally present eyelashes. On the upper eyelid, between 150 and 250 of them grow on average, while only around 50 to 150 of the fine hairs grow on the lower eyelid.
Artificial eyelashes are glued to your eyelashes, which can be around 1/3 longer than natural eyelashes. Usually this is 6 to 15 millimeters. Artificial eyelashes shouldn’t be any longer, because then lengthening them would have the opposite effect: the eyelashes would then be too heavy and lose their great curl. Only oil and grease directly on the eyelashes should be avoided. This would loosen the glue.

But these day glues only provide a short-term remedy – just for a nice party evening when it’s dark enough. Because unfortunately, you can see the artificiality of these eyelashes at first glance. These eyelash extensions are typically very heavy and rigid, press the upper eyelid downwards, which tends to lead to a tired look and is less irritating.
