Long eyelashes that gently swing upwards – a dream full of seduction! But it doesn’t have to remain a dream! A well-done eyelash lift every 6 to 8 weeks, and daily mascara or sticking on artificial eyelash bands are a thing of the past.
Eyelash lifting may sound like a serious procedure at first, possibly even like a scalpel, blood and scars. In this case, however, everything goes extremely smoothly and carefully. We promise! The following procedure is used for an eyelash lift in our cosmetic studio in Zurich.
However, it is necessary to have an experienced specialist supervise the eyelash lift. Because eyelash lifting is difficult to do on your own, as your eyes have to be closed for a little while: an ideal time to lean back and relax!
First, the eyelids are cleaned of any oils or fats that were left over from the last make-up removal.
Once the lower lids are covered with soft pads, the lifting begins with a comfortable and super-soft gel or silicone cushion – this is simply placed on the upper eyelids.
The pillows over the right and left lash line then act like a kind of “curler”. The eyelashes are carefully curled around them and carefully combed out so that the last remains of mascara are removed. This is now an end once and for all! Great eyelash curls are standard after the lifting.
When the eyelashes are curled around the pillow, a lotion is applied – similar to a permanent wave. It works for a few minutes and ensures that the eyelashes come into the desired shape – and stay that way!
Shortly afterwards, the lashes are detached from the pillow with a neutralizer and maybe even colored in the desired color – and we promise: Afterwards you will hardly believe that these are your eyelashes! Your eyelashes appear longer and thicker, but completely natural. As if they were never different.
